Fundraising Overview
Music Boosters manages several core fundraising activities in support of all AGHS Music Department Programs including:
Additional fundraisers may also be run on an as needed basis and examples may include:
- Devil Fries: We sell THE BEST French Fries along with cold drinks during most home Varsity Football games.
- SCRIP Gift Card Rebates: No selling. No extra spending. Just a great fundraising tool that earns you money when you purchase prepaid gift cards at face value and using them for your everyday shopping instead of cash, checks, or credit cards. Vendors include Giant, Target, Walgreens, Domino's Pizza, and more! Click here for more information.
- Homecoming: Generally held during September or October - we sell our Devil Fries along with hamburgers, candy, drinks and other items. We also sponsor a raffle and other fun activities.
- Nut Sale: Students and their families are asked to sell delicious, prepacked nuts which are delivered just in time for the winter holidays.
- Dinner & Dance: or other larger event to continue fundraising (generally scheduled between February and April).
- Indoor Showcase: Held during the spring, March or April.
Additional fundraisers may also be run on an as needed basis and examples may include:
- Raffles
- Indoor / Outdoor Golf Tournaments
- Challenges (Individuals pledge money for activities such as a Play-A-Thon, Spin-A-Thon, Drum-A-Thon or similar activity where students play an instrument, spin and throw a flag or rifle, or practice to improve their technique or master their show music for a certain length of time on a given day)
- Dining to Donate (a local restaurant such as Wendy's Restaurant, Applebee's or Texas Roadhouse partners with us to donate a portion of sales on a given day)
